Meet Dr. Cat

Dr. Catherine Guerrero, affectionately known as "Dr. Cat," founded Dr. Cat & the Tooth with a simple mission: to make dental care a fun, positive experience for every child. She believes that building trust and comfort early leads to a lifetime of healthy smiles and good dental habits.

As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Cat completed additional years of specialized training beyond dental school focused exclusively on the oral health of infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs. This advanced training equips her with the expertise to handle everything from routine check-ups to complex dental procedures.

Her philosophy centers on patience, kindness, and meeting each child where they are. Some children walk in ready to hop in the chair, while others need a little more time and encouragement. Dr. Cat adapts her approach to each patient, using child-friendly language and lots of positive reinforcement to make every visit a success.

Step inside Dr. Cat & the Tooth and you will find a world designed just for kids. Our cat-themed office is filled with bright colors, playful decor, and a welcoming atmosphere that puts children (and parents!) at ease from the moment they walk in.

Located in Woodland Hills in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, we are easily accessible from Calabasas, Tarzana, Canoga Park, West Hills, and surrounding communities. Our office features a comfortable waiting area, kid-sized treatment rooms, and the latest dental technology to provide the best care possible.

Our Approach

We believe that prevention is the best medicine. Through regular cleanings, exams, fluoride treatments, and parent education, we work to keep your child's teeth healthy and cavity-free.
